If you’re handling a probate or trust property anywhere in Riverside County (from Corona to Palm Springs, Temecula to Moreno Valley), the real-estate side of the process looks similar from city to city, but the local details and the court steps don’t. This page covers what’s countywide: how Riverside County’s probate court works, and where to find city-specific guidance once it’s available.

Alex Gonzalez provides bilingual probate and trust real-estate education and property coordination for families across Riverside County. This page is general education, not legal advice: a probate attorney is the right resource for questions about your specific case.
Riverside County probate orientation
Probate matters in Riverside County are handled through the Superior Court of California, County of Riverside — Probate Division. The court lists probate locations in Riverside, Palm Springs, and Murrieta:
- Riverside Probate Court — 4050 Main Street, Riverside, CA 92501
- Southwest Justice Center — 30755-D Auld Road, Murrieta, CA 92563
- Palm Springs Court — 3255 E. Tahquitz Canyon Way, Palm Springs, CA 92262
The correct filing or hearing location for a specific case can depend on the case type, applicable law, and the parties’ ZIP-code information — it is not simply “whichever courthouse is closest.” Confirm the current filing location directly through the Riverside Superior Court’s own guidance, or with the clerk or a California probate attorney for case-specific questions. This page does not determine which courthouse applies to any individual estate.
The Probate Division also handles trust proceedings, conservatorships, and guardianships alongside decedents’ estates. Venue generally follows where the deceased person lived at the time of death, not where a particular property is located.
Court self-help events and workshops. The Riverside court also lists probate self-help events and workshops, including virtual sessions by phone or Zoom, in-person help at specific courthouses, and fillable probate form packets. See Riverside Superior Court — Probate Events and Workshops. Availability, locations, and schedules are set by the court and can change, so check the court’s page for current details. These events are provided through the court and its partners, not by Alex Gonzalez, and they don’t replace advice from a probate attorney.
